When I first saw my tribe, yeah, I admit I had some reservations about my tribe. People like Taj and Butch didn't seem overly active, Jaime seemed a bit odd, and there was something about Coach that I felt I couldn't trust. After getting to know some of my tribesmen a bit more, I started to think "hey, this is a good group here, I can do well with these people". So far, it looks like I've got something going on with Kelly, Shawn, and Sugar with Jaime or Coach open as possible fifths in order to give me majority. Am I going to put all of my trust in these people and risk being blindsided or crushed if I find out that I can't trust them? No, because you can't put all your eggs in one basket, and you can't show all of your cards, especially from the get go.
Either way, I have to be prepared to come into this and deal with people playing especially nasty games. As long as I'm able to adapt and predict what the other people will do, I should be able to get by and hopefully I can come out on top. After all, if you can't adapt, you may as well fold.
